What is a proof?
A proof is a copy of your printed document that is used to make sure that the layout and colors are exactly how they are supposed to be before we begin the printing process.
What is CMYK?
CMYK is the color profile used for four color printing, it stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and black. CMYK is the industry standard for color printing across the world for digital and offset printing methods.
Do you keep my files for reprinting?
We keep all files for you indefinitely. If you don’t want us to keep your files please let us know and we will delete them for you after printing.
What is bleed?
Bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of where the sheet will be trimmed. In other words, the bleed is the area to be trimmed off. The bleed is the part on the side of a document that gives us a small amount of space to account for movement of the paper, and design inconsistencies.
What are the standard sizes for postcards?
Postcards are found in three common sizes: 4″ x 6″, 5″ x 7″ and 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.
What are the most common sizes for brochures?
Common brochure sizes are 8 1/2″ x 11″, 8 1/2″ x 14″ and 11″ x 17″.
